Clusters of histiocytes with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm; monomorphic round-ovoid nuclei with prominent nucleoli and inconspicuous mitotic activity 

Rare interspersed osteoclast-type giant cells frequently surrounded by small pools of erythrocytes

Siderophages and haemosiderin deposition
